Dorian Gray - The Emperor's New Clothes 7''

In 1984, AuGoGo records released this little gem.  The label was a beacon in Melbourne (Australia) and released bucketloads of great alternative bands.  Dorian Gray was one of them - but they never did anything after this single.

  1. Thank you very much! Do you have something by the Aussie band "NO" (feat. Ollie Olsen)? I'm searching for "Once We Were Scum, Now We Are God ", "Glory For The Shit For Brains" and the untitled 12". Thanx a bunch in advance.

  2. Yes I do have. In fact, all of their stuff. Have converted 'Scum' & 'Glory' to CD but not sure about the untitled 12''. I'll need to do a mp3 conversion so give me a bit of time for that - unfortunately I go on hols for 3 weeks tomorrow but will try to do this before I go. If not - sorry - will have to wait till I get back.

The 'Yahowah' handle is interesting. I have the boxset and it's straight up fun. Hope they weren't too serious when they made all those recordings!

  3. Thanks, I've got the vinyl but haven't done the rip. Saw these guys around Melbourne, The Venetian Room on Latrobe St if memory serves. Very Cure-sque. Also the No rips are great, Glory to the Shit for Brains (I might try dropping that in conversation too). I've been hunting for CDs but no luck. Again have the vinyl but you've saved me the hassle. Haven't listened to it all but kudos on the quality. You're performing a service to the community.
