Punk/Garage rock with a twist.  Sounds great and the dose of weird and wacky contained within makes it worth your while.

Punxie & The Poison Pens - Bad Girl EP

Great cover.  Despite that - you'd do a lot worse than wrap your ears around this release.  I hope they go places but this release didn't trouble the scorer.  So, if nothing else - this blog hopes you change your mind. The song 'My Pussy Is The Bomb' is certainly a worthwhile inclusion.

Monroes Fur - Sadisfactory

Another 80's Aussie punk band (with weird pedigree).  This album sunk without so much as a whimper.  Hardly see it around at all - and it appeared in the ceedee era (have not even seen sight of  a download).  Well, that's now sorted

Peg - The Science Of Imaginary Solutions

Released without much ado and promptly sunk.  You've probably never even heard of this and have chanced upon it by downloading other items on this site. Well it's your lucky day.  My introduction to this band was equally low key - courtesy of the 'Blunt' book that focused on Aussie punk in the 80's.  You won't be disappointed!

Buffalo - Self Titled EP

Buffalo were an Aussie hard rock band with THE big sound.  Often cited as Black Sabbath imitators, it's probably the other way around.  This 4 song EP is largely unknown and has not been re-released when Aztec Records put out all their stuff again.  It came out before their first album ('Dead Forever') containing the song of the same name.  In due course, we will need to blog their third album 'Only Want You For Your Body'.  Stay tuned for that one but note that it will appear in the 'Weird & Wacky' site - the reason for which will become obvious!

Much sought after release.  Never seen the light of day with a CD reish so you'll have to make do with this OKish conversion from LP to cassette then MP3.  Despite this, you will be hooked.  Don't pay silly $$ on ebay (that's even if you're lucky enough to see a copy) download here and rock-on.
