The Fabulous Marquises - Honeymoons 7''
1980 release from Australia. Chris Walsh was in this band. He did time with the Negatives, The Champagne Edge and Moodists. Very much part of the Melbourne Punk/New Wave sound keen to experiment and perhaps - get dark.

The Inner Sleeves - End It All 7''
Released in 1986 on the Citadel label (quality is assured). Appropriate title really - none of the members went on to any other bands.

The Relatives - Now She's on the Beat 7''
Second and last single. Last output. All over, red rover. All three tracks are joined together to form one track on this download. Sorry, I couldn't be bothered splitting. Besides I enjoy playing all three tracks in one go. Some of the members went into Chad's Tree and Wet Taxis.

The Sharks - Freud-Lobotomy 7''
One and only release from this Aussie punk band in 1979. They have a kind of quirky pop/punk sound - very pleasing to these ears. I rate this highly.

The Klerks - The Groove Tapes EP & Live at The Sussex Hotel
Released in 1985 but I do not have. It was made available as a 7'' EP (not on tape/cassette) so if you can help out, please do not hesitate to make contact.
Hold the press. It's here. Many thanks to Baz.
As a special bonus, we have also been sent 'Live at The Sussex Hotel'. Pure magic. This internet thingy sure is great.
The Klerks - I Need A Pardon 7''
First single in 1983 from this Aussie punk band. An absolutely essential acquisition.

Public Execution - Methadone Slave 7''
Aussie (Brisbane) hardcore punk from 1982. Brisbane had a habit of throwing up original punk bands. Unique, even in Australia.
They also released a split single with Kicks before this. These tracks are collected on the 2013 LP.
Public Execution - American Hardcore 7''
I do not have this. It contains two tracks which are not collected on the LP. Only just released (2022). Amazing. Don't want to provide a download for this as it's only just out (Swashbuckling Hobo Records). This entry is just a FYI.
Public Execution - Self Titled LP
Their singles collected in 2013 (except for the last - 'American Hardcore'). Rare as hens teeth to find. Same cover as 'Methadone Slave'.

Gravity Pirates - This Way To The Cargo Cult
Two versions of this: seven song Mini LP and four song EP. The former simply has three more tracks than the other, so that is what you will be downloading. Lobby Lloyd produced this in 1986. He had the 'slap it down live and we'll see how pans out' method of recording. It worked for many - Sunnyboys for example - and it works here. Straight up rock with a nod to gloom/goth. I see from the accompanying photocopied liner notes that many likened them to Pink Floyd (?), early Cure and Joy Division.
Steven Hindes seems to be the mainman. Their are no other credits to be seen. Very secretive - so much so that they hardly sold any product. I know his brother was in the band. Uhm, if it's all a big secret, then I guess it will remain such.
Gravity Pirates - New Age Dreams
Second and last release from 1987. Brothers Steven & Paul Hindes team up with Sharon Van Tromp on vocals for this album. They cover Femme Fatale from the Velvet Underground.

Johnny Teen & The Broken Hearts - She Stinks of Sex 7''
First single - released in 1987. All of their releases appeared on Timberyard Records. Interesting song titles for your first! Very brave (or foolish). But hey - this is after all, JT & Co. Throw away the rule book. Let's just have a laugh and play that rawk 'n roll. She Stinks of Sex! Ha.
The B Side (perhaps really the A Side??), is a cover of the Supernaut song 'I Like It Both Ways'. Again - hmmmm, different. Me like.
Johnny Teen & The Broken Hearts - Dig It 7''
Released in 1989. This cover further ignited my interest - did they reference the Jonah Jones album 'I Dig Chicks!'? It certainly seemed like it to me at the time. Perhaps I just have a vivid imagination. Dunno. Either way, my attention was piqued. If you click on the link, it will take you to Mr Weird and Wacky. Now there's a blogsite you cant resist.
Johnny Teen & The Broken Hearts - Dear Santa 7''
At the time (1989), I thought this was a cash-in. My guess is that many thought the same - however it was a worthwhile purchase. Christmas song sell during Christmas - it's rawk 'n' roll though.
Johnny Teen & The Broken Hearts - Teenage Love Bitch 7''
This is the last single I bought. Released in 1990. I had the feeling then that they may have run their course. By now - an LP would be on the cards. Not to be. Alarm bells.
Johnny Teen & The Broken Hearts - Raging EP
I'd call that a fairly goofy cover. It says to me - that's all folks. See ya later. And it was. In 1990 the band called it quits with this EP. Unfortunately I do not have this so any help will be appreciated. I would like to provide a download for the sake of completeness.
Johnny Teen & The Broken Hearts - Greatest Picks
Essentially a 'collection of your greatest memories' (as it says on the back). All the tracks for this come from some of their singles. Although I do not have this actual LP - all 8 tracks are contained in the singles.
Still - it's worth getting just for the cover. An old codger picking his nose on his front lawn.
